The Marches are full of things to do outdoors during the summer holidays. In Felceto di Matelica (MC) you
can go to the Park of the Dragon Stones and see the sixteen full-sized dinosaurs inserted in the
reproductions of their habitats. Anyone who loves astronomy can visit one of the many planetariums and
observatories of the AMA (Association of Astronomers Association), which includes the Villa del Bali
Observatory in Saltara (PU), a scientific center with numerous events throughout the year. And the
amusement parks of the Marche are also sure to please! There are three water parks in the province of
Macerata: the Acquapark Malibu in Porto Recanati, the Eldorado Park in Apiro. Located between the sea
and the mountains, they are ideal places for both children and adults to have fun. The Lake Cingoli Adventure Park offers tree walks, routes through artificial canyons, tunnels and rivers. Pulleys, robust
creepers and moving tree trunks are some of the adventure trails you can follow at Quercus Park in
Ripatransone (AP). Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, it is a destination not to be missed for the
bravest families! Just outside Ancona is the Falconara Zoo Park, home to many species of animals and with
a picnic area to relax and enjoy the day.
Carpegna Park, the first Acrobatic Forest Park in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, is located inside the Sasso
Simone and Simoncello Nature Park, in the heart of the Montefeltro Mountain Community. The fun is
guaranteed here on any of the eleven fields through the tree tops of the largest oak grove in Europe at the
Passo Carponi Passoniera. At the ski resort of Frontone, in a quiet area above the runway, you will find
Kinderland, a playground in the snow where children of 3 years
the years can slip and slide into their hearts while they enjoy their first winter sports trip: a real oasis for
families. The area is completely fenced and safe so that children can have fun out of danger. The park can
be reached via a transport belt and offers various attractions, including an inflatable castle. Furlo
Adventure Park is also interesting and exciting: immersed in the Nature Reserve of the same name, it offers
acrobatic tours for children and adults. Itineraries among the trees with suspended cables on the Sentino
river, rickety rope bridges and vertiginous pulleys await lovers of adventure and fun. The “Frasassi
Adventure” of Genga, a hamlet of San Vittore, can offer all this: it is located in the greenery opposite the
former mill near the Romanesque abbey of “San Vittore alle Chiuse”. The Adventure Park (adventure park with cableway) on Lake Fiastra consists of various paths over the tops of trees on bridges and rope ropes,
and a cable car that crosses the other end of the lake. Anyone can join in the fun here in this enchanting
natural environment not far from where a branch of the Fiastrone river flows into the lake. Another
interesting adventure park is the Fiuminata National Park in the Macerata area. Also worth a visit is the
Ice Palace (Palazzo del ICE) in Ussita.
